of the AFA who are facing critical, life-threatening illness or injury and

emergency grants. For more information on Pegasus eligibility guidelines and
to download an application please click on the Pegasus Forms page on the
left side of this page and go to Eligibility Guidelines and Application

FUNDRAISING FOR A SPECIFIC MEMBER
Pegasus also provides a means to donate funds to a specific member(s) in
need at a Local AFA Council. This allows for members to earmark their
donation to go to a specific member in need and receive a tax-deductible
receipt for their donation. The member in need must submit a Pegasus
application showing the need for assistance and provide a signed release
form allowing Pegasus to fundraise on their behalf.. If you have a
particular person in need at your Council, please make them aware of the
assistance available to them through The Project. For more details on the
Specific Grant Program and to find out who Pegasus is currently raising
specific funds for - see theSpecific
Grant Program.
PEGASUS EDUCATION CAMPAIGN
The Pegasus Board is
in the process of educating our membership about the Project’s mission, and
the need to raise funds to accomplish these goals. Education campaigns have
already been conducted at American Trans Airlines and Alaska Airlines and a
campaign is scheduled in October for Mesaba Airlines. This campaign will be
followed by campaigns at United Airlines' domiciles. The Pegasus Board is
currently seeking permission for direct payroll deduction for US Airways
flight attendants. If you are a US Airways flight attendant please request
from your base supervisor that this option be provided the US Airways flight
attendants. The success of the
Pegasus Project depends on the kindness and generosity of our members.
We encourage you to step forward and volunteer your services or make a
donation to this worthy cause.
The Pegasus Project would like to thank
those who have supported Pegasus. Through the generosity of donations The
Project is able to assist members in need as they battle critical,
life-threatening illness and injury.
